Welcome to the whimsical world of KIMIA, where we’re all about making your home bar experience as epic as your latest Netflix binge with our artisanal, hand-crafted mixers.
Today, we’re beyond thrilled to introduce our newest concoction that’s bound to make you the life of the party (or at least your own kitchen): Miso Horny. This drink is a seductive mix of sake, gin, lime juice, and our secret weapon, the Miso Majesty. It’s like a flavour bomb went off in your mouth—in the best way possible.
Miso Horny Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 oz (45 ml) sake
0.75 oz (22.5 ml) gin
0.75 oz (22.5 ml) KIMIA Miso Majesty
0.75 oz (22.5 ml) lime juice
0.5 oz (15 ml) simple syrup
Instructions:
Toss the sake, gin, Miso Majesty, lime juice, and simple syrup into a shaker. Imagine you’re Tom Cruise in Cocktail.
Fill the shaker with ice and give it a good, vigorous shake for about 15 seconds. Channel your inner cocktail shaker rock star.
Strain the icy elixir into a coupe glass. You deserve this moment of elegance.
Garnish with a lime wheel or a twist of lime zest, if you’re feeling extra fancy.
Why We Love It: The Miso Horny cocktail is a wild ride for your taste buds. Sake lays down the smooth base, gin brings the botanical party, Miso Majesty delivers a savory punch, and lime juice adds that zesty kick. Simple syrup sweetens the deal, making every sip a complex, delicious adventure. It’s the drink you didn’t know you needed until now.
Pro Tips:
Experiment with Garnishes: Sure, a lime wheel is classic, but why not shake things up? Try a sprig of mint or a thin slice of cucumber for that extra oomph.
Chill Your Glassware: For that frosty, just-like-at-the-bar experience, chill your coupe glass in the freezer before straining your masterpiece into it.
Adjust to Taste: If you’ve got a sweet tooth, go ahead and add a bit more simple syrup. Craving more umami? Up the Miso Majesty ante.
We hope you have a blast making (and drinking) the Miso Horny as much as we enjoyed crafting it. Stay tuned for more cheeky recipes and mixology tips from KIMIA!
